LAWRENCE, Kansas (Ticker) -- No. 25 Kansas looks to continue its home winning streak when it hosts Kent State on Monday.
The Jayhawks won their 27th straight contest at the Allen Fieldhouse on Friday, bouncing back from their first loss to rout Coppin State, 85-53.
Cole Aldrich and Brady Morningstar each had career highs with 23 and 21 points, respectively. Sherron Collins leads the team at 18.2 points per contest.
The reigning Mid-American Conference champions, Kent State is coming off a pair of close defeats at the South Padre Island Invitational.
The Golden Flashes dropped a six-point contest in overtime to Illinois and then were defeated, 77-71, against Texas A&M on Saturday.
Al Fisher scored 24 points in Saturday's loss and leads the team at 21.8 per contest.
This is the first meeting between the schools.
