RB Pierre Thomas collected 144 yards from scrimmage Sunday, 
rushing 16 times for 88 yards and catching four passes for 56 
yards, easily surpassing his previous season best of 63 yards in
Week One of the season against Tampa Bay. Thomas had 226 
combined yards in the final game of the 2007 season against 
Chicago. ... WR Lance Moore set career highs with eight catches 
for 102 yards, topping his previous bests of 101 yards on seven 
catches against San Francisco in Week Four; his 47-yard 
touchdown catch was also his longest career reception, eclipsing
his 33-yard scoring catch against San Francisco. ... Sunday's 
game at Kansas City marked QB Drew Brees' first regular-season 
game at Arrowhead Stadium while with the Saints and his first 
since December 24, 2005, when he was a member of the San Diego 
Chargers in a 20-7 loss. It was his first victory at Kansas City
since a 34-31 win November 28, 2004, when he passed for a 
season-high 378 yards which was, at the time, his career best. 
... Sunday's victory was the Saints first on the road this 
season; they have been on the road since October 12 and will 
return to the Superdome on November 24, against the Green Bay 
Packers.  The Saints had lost five straight road games dating to
a 34-14 win at Atlanta on December 10, 2007.
