Third-year WR Sinorice Moss has battled his share of problems,
from injuries to lack of production, since the Giants selected
him in the second round of the 2006 draft. His hard work finally
paid off Sunday, when he caught four passes for 45 yards and
hauled in the first two TDs of his career in a 44-6 rout of
Seattle. "I finally had some opportunities to make some plays,
and it was my time to step up," he said. "It was great." ...
The Giants had been 4-15 after the bye week the last 19 years.
But New York eliminated those problems against the Seahawks,
racing out to a 27-6 halftime lead and never looking back.
"Everybody was concerned," center Shaun O'Hara said. "But again,
we talked about coming out fast and we did." ... The Giants'
4-0 record is their best start since 1990, when they finished
13-3 and won the Super Bowl ... New York rolled up 523 yards of
total offense, the most they have collected since gaining 524
against the Green Bay Packers in 2002. "It was good to see the
plan executed the way it was," coach Tom Coughlin said.
